This exhibit was suffering from a long development cycle when I took it over. It had become too many things with no firm central big idea. I helped the team identify a core audience (young women in their 20s and 30s) to target. From there we brainstormed and designed the experience to suit their needs. I ensured that interactive elements were up front in an open floor plan, sending the message that this exhibition was different from ISM traditional offerings.
Color of Style evolved into our model of how to combine vibrant collections, engaging exhibit activities and audience relevance.
